Both of the predictions are pretty close when it comes to the details. Here are some of the key predictions (reference <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cio.com\/article\/3024329\/cloud-computing\/5-cloud-computing-predictions-for-2016.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cio.com<\/a>):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CIOs will reject CapEx spend on IT infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>Public cloud will no longer be the point of contention. The discussion will shift\u00a0from\u00a0If to When.<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Data center&#8221; and &#8220;Private cloud&#8221; will\u00a0be considered as bad words in most organizations.<\/li>\n<li>So far companies have moved CRM, ITSM and Productivity Suites\u00a0on Cloud, but prediction is that organizations will start migrating enterprise applications and running entire Business Process on Cloud<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As businesses\u00a0start building Enterprise Applications on Cloud, they will look beyond SaaS to\u00a0Infrastructure on Cloud i.e.\u00a0IaaS \u00a0and also PaaS will get a big boost as per cloud experts.<\/p>\n<p>Experts are also predicting that the war of cloud providers is over. The public cloud market share will consolidate around 3 vendors, Amazon (AWS), Microsoft (Azure) and IBM (SoftLayer).<\/p>\n<p>Businesses\u00a0will have to start looking at how to build cloud-native enterprise applications and migrate business process to cloud.
